When 一 下 yíxià is preceded by a verb, it has the following two functions.

The adverb “又yòu ”、“再zài”、“还hái”can all indicate the repetition of an action or the continuation of a state. But there are some differences among them.
When 就 jiù precedes a verb phrase that is not linked to another verb phrase,it conveys the meaning of uniqueness.
